    Tanks Arts Centre’s popular Sunday Markets are held on the last Sunday…

    Tanks Arts Centre’s popular Sunday Markets are held on the last Sunday of every month from April to November.  Showcasing a blend of local art, craft, produce, vintage clothing, collectables and local natural health products and treatments, the markets are a great way to spend a Sunday morning.

    Market stalls line the Tanks promenade on Collins Avenue, with live entertainment provided by local musicians.

    Get the kids involved in a workshop in The Kids’ Tank, wander through the art gallery – it´s all free!  Open 9am - 2pm, Tanks Market Days offer a slice of unique cultural life in the tropics. Come and meet the locals, catch up with friends over cake and coffee and enjoy the ambience of Tanks Arts Centre in the Cairns Botanic Gardens Precinct.

    Now in its third year, no masters would be complete without a fantastic social program and 2017 promises something for everyone. Activities include a welcome march past, Fluro Friday event and Summer-Lovin Saturday! This year's entertainment line-up includes three DJ's, a party night with Adam Thompson, from the Aria Award-Winning Australian Band Chocolate Starfish.

    2,000 masters-aged men and women from Australia, Oceania and South East Asia are anticipated to compete in 20 individual and team sports across the four days of competition with sports for all masters ages and interests.
